The Mission of the Friends of the T.O.H.P. Burnham Library is to support and cooperate with the Library in developing, maintaining and enhancing programs, resources, services, and facilities. We strive to accomplish our goals through fundraising, volunteering, and advocacy on behalf of the library.

The Friends augment the work of the Library Board of Trustees in gaining support for library improvement, creating public awareness of the role of the library in the community, providing financial support beyond the lbirary’s budget limits, encouraging gifts and endowments to the library, and supporting legislation important to libraries. Through our fundraisers and Annual Membership Drive, the Friends are able to provide many extras for the Burnham Library, including:
Discounted Museum Passes
Updates to materials and collections
Music programs, and other programs
Support of the Root Beer Float Kick Off to Summer Reading
And much more!
The Friends always welcome new members. Memberships are renewed in January of each year, but anyone can join at anytime. Yearly dues are $10.00 for individual membership, $20.00, family membership.
